Caravan towing covers are a subject of great debate. Some love them, some have been towing for 40 years without the need for one.
This video demonstrates how to fit a Caravan Defender towing cover.
We previously purchased one of the more expensive Towing Covers, which was specifically made for our caravan make and model. BUT, it didn’t fit. We eventually got a refund and purchased a Caravan Defender towing cover for a fraction of the price. We’ve been really pleased with it.
Fitting this less expensive caravan towing cover takes five (or so) minutes longer than the more premium towing covers but I can buy six Caravan Defender towing covers for the price of one of those.
Watch out for the tip to stop the dreaded black marks which can be caused by the straps. Also, near the end there is a top tip for how to clean and dry your towing cover and also your awning or canopy after a trip.
